FREQUENTLY ASKED ?'S
-
What can you expect from me?You can expect me to be someone to motivate and educate you along your fitness journey. I create individualized exercise programs for each client that is specific to their capabilities and fitness level. Taking into consideration what level you are currently at (including any limitations or disabilities) and where you want to be!
-
Do I have to prepare to have a personal trainer?NO! I pride myself on meeting you where you are, not where I want you to be. That is one of the best parts about hiring a qualified personal trainer. My goal is to make you better than you were yesterday, not better than the professional athlete on television. However, training does take discipline, hard work, consistency and persistence. It is not meant to be easy, but it is also not meant to make you hate working out or dread coming to your sessions. This is not about working out for a couple of months and then giving up, it's about changing your habits, accomplishing your goals and then making new ones. It's about becoming and staying the healthiest version of yourself.
-
How much is personal training?Prices range depending on the program we decide on. Prices can range from $20-$50 per session at the studio and $30-$70 per session for mobile sessions.
-
How long should I expect to need a trainer?Everyone is different. It may be three months, it may be four years. Are you striving for physical change, mental change, emotional change, or all three? The key here is that you get to choose. I recommend and require a minimum of three months where you're putting consistant effort into your program to really see results you want. However, I am happy to help you as long as you need me.
-
How many days per week should I see you? This will depend on your goals, how committed you are outside the gym and your availability. If you are new to working out, I suggest starting at three days per week. After you start to gain confidence and your endurance rises you may want to increase the days we meet to four, five or even six times a week. This can increase or decrease as time goes on depending on how active you are on your own.
-
Is there nutrition planning with Pursuit Personal Fitness?Yes! Nutritional guidance is included in all programs. It consists of: 1. Advice & education on macronutrients 2. Pre & post workout foods 3. Portion control I do not write detailed meal plans. A registered dietician is the best person to seek for individualized meal plans. I do offer a 28 Transformation Challenge. This is a four week meal plan written by a registered dietician.

What hours do you work?My schedule is based off my clients' schedule. Therefore, every day of the week is different. The best way to schedule a session is to agree on set day(s)/time(s) that work for each week. We can also schedule sessions weekly if you have an inconsistent schedule. "Anna has been my trainer, motivator, confidante. I have worked out muscles that I didn't know even existed, and even when I yell and scream after an excruciating rep of some crazy exercise, I always feel terrific at the end and for the rest of the day. Anna is one of a kind. If you want to get in shape and feel great in the process, you need to call Anna right now."
